just thought i'd share...

i was cruising on craigslist today and ran across this lady giving away a pair of clowns. and since i recently rid my tank of a yellow tang(got too big) and a niger trigger(poops too much) and so a pair of clown would be a great addition to my tank. well, it turned out that one was your standard orange and white false clown, while the other...has the standard white stripes but the rest of the body is all black!!! except for a little orange going from under the eyes to the mouth.

any idea what kind of clown these are? sorry, no pics.

bec they are not fighting, prob. perc/osc. and black osc.

If they are not fighting there is always the posibility of one or both being interbred showing cross features.

as far as shape. they look just like your ordinary false clowns. but the black may be a hybrid because he still has a bit of orange in him, just around the snout. the orange one i believe is tank bred due to the large overbite that seems to occur with tank bred clowns.
