Just to get things going

I am starting a new 24g Nano Reef. What coudl I put in there now to get things going w/ the cycle. I have Live Rock in there. I had suggested to me some crabs or something. Any suggestions?

The LR will get you through the cycle by itself. Any inverts would die if you havent cycled yet, and most fish will die in there if you havent cycled. So I would just wait for the LR die off to get you through your cycle.

how long do you allow for a cycle? Also for a 24g how much live rock you do rec?

I cycled my 12 gallon nano for a month. I added my black ocellaris clown after 1 week, she is alive and very happy today. After about 3 weeks I added my Bicolor Blenny. Then I let my tank site for another month before adding any coral.
