Just wondering - are you planning on attending this Saturday's meeting?

If there is anymore left, i'd like a frag of the PAVONA CACTUS coral...

lmk, I am all about pay it forward:) I will be at BAR also.

Thanks,
Angela

Not a prob re the P. cactus. Got it covered.

I have 2 pieces going to Vincerama and Jonahshark. 3rd and final piece will be the encrusted base (the coral's butt, as Rich would say!) which will go to Newreeflady.

At that point, they become the keepers of the parasite... er MASNA September 2006 pinup, and will be responsible for caring and sharing of this coral! :)

Take care of it well, and don't let it get near any of Gresham's tanks :)

Just keep it away from my precious SPS, LPS and softies. Nothing can kill that stuff, except a major aptasia infestion. Manajos are useless against it :D

Hehehe.. I told Mike that he should play with it. The SPS that can't be killed :)

Someone else told me theirs survived being buried under live rock for months even :)

Oh, and if anyone could bring some phyto for a starter culture, my baby seahorses would thank you.

would some DT's Live Phyto work for you? I can bring you a bit if so =)

I'm bringing a frag of this for Norman to trade, and if anyone else wants one I have one more, let me know =)

It's a never ending battle with me. I've glued over the stuff, and it just found a pin hole in the rock, grow around in the dark, and back out in front to attack more acros and montis:mad: I decided to frag it up for the swap two back, now it's taken over my largest rack. Once I make a new one, I'm taking that one out :D

Wow, do they really have far reaching stinging capability? er.. umm. . . maybe I should rethink this addition? :( (tank is small, 12g)

In higher flows they can extend 1/2 a foot, but typically, they just extend a couple inches.

I'd just keep it on it's own rock. It's a EXCELLENT coral btw, I'm just bitter tht it killed two corals that I loved ;(

This one is Pavona cactus, I believe. It's not as fuzzy as other Pavona I've seen. The longest I've seen the sweepers on this piece is ~1/2".

Live Aquaria shows Pavona decussata as semi-aggressive. That's all it would take to cause probs with acros and montis if they're close enough to get brushed.

I'll have a limitted amount of samples on hand for anyone that hasn' tried our Roti-Feast LIve, Roti-Feast and Tigger-Pods.

Is that going to be on the raffle table?? :)
BTW, did you pick up the sump from Rich yet??

Gresham, can I get in on some of those samples?

If they're half as good as the Phyto-Feast I've been using, I *NEED* some! Some of each, that is. Heheheh :)

If you are handing out, I would like to try some :) ..

Ask Rich to bring it to the meeting. It should fit in his car :D .
