Juvenile Naso sp. Identification Characteristics?

Does anyone know the characteristics used to distinguish between juvenile Naso tangs of different species? Specifically I am trying to find the defining characteristics of juvenile Naso unicornis as opposed to other Nasos. I have been searching online but haven't been able to determine. Any links to a dichotomous key?

I can't believe what I'm reading...You are attempting to do EXACTLY the same thing as me. So far, I have been unable to find an answer myself. In my attempts, I have purchased a juvenile Naso that I was positive looked different than others....then within a week it turned into N. literatus...Now I have to catch him and sell him to try again.

I've seen photos of them in people's tanks, so I know they can be found...somehow.

Thanks for the response. Which species are you looking for? There are several places that should be able to get you a specific species, or possibly direct from a collector. I know a great one in Hawaii if you are interested.

Edited to add:
I see you are in Canada. I don't know how easy it is to get live fish shipped there from the US.

I'm looking for Naso unicornis (Blue spine Tang?). Yes, doing the importation myself might be beyond my capabilities. As I think they are native to Hawaii, that should make them easier to get through regular channels here. I'm working on that right now.

Until now, I've been just "watching and waiting to find one". Now, I'm trying to custom order one. It is my experience that the suppliers/distributors don't really offer custom orders as a service. I think they run the business as...you get what we provide.

I would prefer a juvenile...and I suspect that they are probably indistinguishable from N. literatus as juveniles.
