k-2 viper owners- how do i replace the bulb?

i can't get the fixture open! i unscrewed the 4 screws like the manual says but i can't take it apart!

Weird, when I remove the four screws the two halfs pratically fall apart on mine. I suppose they could have fused together with the amount of heat they generate. I'd say cover a flathead screwdriver with a thin cloth and try to pry them apart. Be very careful with that glass though!
