Kalk or 2-part system?

What is better for dosing alk and calcium? Kalk or 2-part systems.

If you have or are planning on doing an auto topoff, Kalk is a great way to go. If not, a 2 part is also very good. You could also use both.

i use a 2 part myself. i dont feel there is a best way to dose alk/calc because theres several ways to get the job done. and each person has their own pros and cons with each. i like the 2 part because its easy to dose. just measure out what i need, pour it in, and do the same with the other part. i mix my own 2 part, but i only have to mix about 1 gal every 6-7 months of both parts. thats the only mixing i have to do.

I like kalk because my water source has a lot of PO4. kalk precipitates PO4

i will go with 2 part and get a dosing pump

Both. 2 part with a dosing pump to get most of alk/calc requirements and a little kalk in auto topoff water to keep your ph up.

I like to use kalk for all my evaporation and then do tweaking by using Randy's 2(3) part FWIW.

both. Kalk for the PO4 and PH, 2 part for the calcium.
