Kalk Rxr and 2 part

I was running a Ca Rxr and Kalk Rxr. I got so fed up with the Ca rxr fidding with it all these years, I decided to go 2 part. (wife says I spent 3 hours a night fiddling with it)
Should I leave the Kalk rxr and piggy back with 2 part or just do 2 part only?

Any suggestions would be great for keeping more sps. Thanks.

If the KW works don't fix it. Besides helping Alk and CA it's keeping pH up and phosphates down. Why would you want to abandon those benefits ?

Unlike the CA reactor using a 2 part method is very controllable with little effort.

If you haven't measured what your consumption is you might want to do that for a 3 or 4 day period. Stop the CA reactor. Measure CA, Alk and Mg. Run just the KW and measure levels every day. That'll give you a starting point with your 2 part.

Calculator is here.

When you raise levels do it slowly.

Thanks I was thinking the same thing. I just didnt know how to do it. I'll measure with kalk only this week. Tank is out of ionic balance now. Ca 580 Alk 7 and Mg of 1800. I read that the 2 part should be equal amounts right?

I've stuck with Kalkwasser only. Otherwise my Alk goes nuts.
Currently Ca~ 380. &. Alk 10
Haven't added baking soda/Alk for a month now.
Out of whack but .... Right on Par
