has anyone tryed or seen a kaklwasser stirrer.Aqua Medic has 2 models out and I was wondering how they differ from other kalk reactors. How much kalk can be placed in the unit to function normally.I don't know how well these units work.I would like to know if you can use a controller with it and what kind of results you get.Does ph stay at a constant with these types of reactors. Thanks

go to Aquamedic.de websight and you can download the manual for each model of Stirrer.
I have taken Randy's advice, mix a bucket let it settle drip it in, I use an Aquamedic sp3000 with float swich and have added another floatswitch for maximum level in Sump as one time a Bioball jammed the supplied float switch.
Very simple in the U.S. to do your own.
Remember on all these dosing pumps to keep the tube greased.

went on the site could not get info site doesn't work maybe there is a problem.I have a kalk unit I was wondering if this is a better setup.

Hmmm..I think I like it. It looks like the Deltec setup with a constant slow sir as opposed the the typical reactor setup which has a timer run very heavy mix

If it works as advertised, with the top clear, it seems like a good way to dose limewater. Not better than a reservoir, but certainly fine and better than many reactors.

FWIW, the clarity of the top layer may depend on the particle size of the lime chosen. Folks don't seem to pay much attention tot hat, but it could be important here.
