I was on vacation for 1 week.I bought a kalk reactor before I left and I had it hooked up to my tunze osmolator.I tested everything and it worked fine.Well I came back to a white tank with a ph of 9.5 and tryed water changes and vin along with emtied the tank.I lost all my fish(at least $700 worth) and all 25 acroporas(at least $3000 worth).I still have some frogspawn,leathers,hammers,ricordia,and a elegant wich are alive but for how long whoe knows.My water level was low yet the osmolator was on.I don't know what went wrong since the osmolator doesn't dose to much water in one shot.This was a nightmare and I am pretty much thinking of leaving the hobby all together.I can't afford to lose more money yet at the same time I love the hobby and want to stay.I have all the equipment I need but I am scared this could hapen again if I leave to go somewhere.I have mixe feeling about going on.I also have so much stuff that would it be worth it to sell it might be better just to store it.I don't know what to do.Just my thoughts.
