kash n karry or publix I can't remember. tried it and had no problems but I just think kalk is a bad idea but that is just my unscientific preference. millions use and love it.

I know you can get the Balls at Kash n Karry around here in the fall. I bought a whole bunch of it last year. For some reason they just carry it in the fall.

THe WalMart SuperCenter (the zoo) has it in their housewares section, near the pots and pans. With canning supplies. Other side of the store from the food. Cheap!

Calcium Hydroxide (CaOH2) food grade. The same as kalkwasser powder sold in fish stores for lots more money.

So, im guessing its just the powder and RO and you got your Reef former concentrate?

Concentrate is the key word. The solution is VERY alkaline. You must drip or add very slowly to your tank. Read about it before trying....

Oh definetly, i mean does it have the same density and strength as the normal concentrate? I dilute and just add it to my tank twice a week. I dont have a doser.

I picked up a container of Ball 100% natural pickling lime($1.99) at a Winn or "Stink" Dixie in Lutz. Now I see why they are going bankrupt.
