Well the tank is clean, the stand is almost refinished, new lockable hood is being stained, I have 90 lbs of salt, test kits and am getting ready to get this thing started.
Here is the only problem... We still are looking for a R/O unit and some LR from somewhere. If anyone knows of a R/O unit that can be donated or sold cheaply and some LR that can be donated or sold very cheaply.
We have had some great support from some local reefers and other online companies. We wish to extend our appreciation for it all and hope to have some GREAT updates soon.
The theme for my classroom and science classes is "stewardship" this year and I hope to instill in my students the idea of taking care of this worlds animals.
I truly hope that this tank and the other tanks I have running help the students grasp this concept as well as create some new hobbiest.
