Keeping a nursery tank cycled

I have two sexy shrimp which I would not mind if they reproduced. If they do reproduce I would like to take the babies out of the tank, if possible and put them in another tank until they are big enough to join the adults. My question is if a set up a tank now, how should I keep it cycled for if or when the babies come along?

So far I do not even know if one is a boy and one is a girl, though one looks much fatter then the other. Also they maybe too young right now I have only had them about a month and half.
