I have a 7 galllon nano with 48 watts of PC lighting on it, is this ok for clams? If not are their any clams that can stand this "lower" light environment? Thanks -Nick

I dont know..
I had a 7 gallon bowfront with 3 inch sandbed, I had a maxima in there for a while, he was always opened nicely.

I had 2 36 watt pcs on there though... also growing SPS.

IT can be done, just have to do it right

If you keep a small clam (t. squa/der) in a nano with PCs, be sure to feed heavily. Eventually a squamosa or derasa will outgrow most nano's though.
