Keeping Haddoni at 80-83 degrees?

Asking on behalf of a friend since there are so many nem experts here - will a haddoni be ok if kept at temperatures of 80-83? If not, how long can it survive under those temperatures?

Id imagine it would stress it out much like any other marine creature past 81 overtime. May I ask why the temps would get up to 83? Maybe need a chiller?

Ok I will let them know. We are in florida and their chiller broke a week ago (even with fans still averaging 81/82 during the day)

I keep my haddoni tank at 82 some days 83 degrees year round. I have read that this is a fairly normal temp for nems close to the shore.

This is common for my tanks. They can go from 77-84. I don't have my heaters plugged in during summer, and the temps fluctuate depending on house temp sometimes. Nothing seems to take a hit from it.

Totally fine. I deliberately have my tank set steady at 80.5. In shallow reef environments it is very common for temps to be in the low to mid 80s.

Yea run my tank anywhere from 78 to about 84 during the summer. Keep up good water circulation and you should be fine

yesterday my tank hit 85. AC was dead when I got home.

I have never seen my carpet look this beautiful, while most fish and SPS were stressed.

so Id assume it actually might prefer it hotter ?
