Keeping male fairy wrasses "pretty" question

3FordFamily

In Memoriam
I have a 125 "wrasse tank" with a male solar fairy wrasse, male mccoskers flasher wrasse, male exquisite wrasse (Maldives), male Scott's wrasse (Cook Islands) and a lubbocks wrasse of unknown sex.

With all of these wrasses schooling and getting along do I need to add females to keep them pretty? I've heard females need to be present or some lose their color (seen it with Scott's wrasse a lot). Would I need a female of every species or would a female Scott's and an exquisite suffice?

Or perhaps the large group would keep them colorful for competition or because they're a school?

Curious what experiences you've all had
