keeps moving

I had my corcea up on a rock shelf and it stayed there for about 3 weeks. now all of a sudden it wont stay there. It opens and is happy but every morning its in the sand. I tried moving it to another rock but the same thing. whats going on with it?

The clam is telling you it doesn't like your placement ideas. If it settles in an acceptable place on its own, I'd leave it there.

I also agree. In most cases, it is the water movement.

My crocea wouldnt attach itself for months after I put it in the tank. Every day or few days I would come home to it laying mantle down. It finally attached when I tried a high location, moderate flow, and a porous rock. Hes been happy there for about 6 months now

yep, mine did the same thing so i put him at the same level, same flow, just on the opposite side of the tank and he put his foot down and hasnt moved since
