Kenya tree dying

Got a flourescent Kenya Tree two years ago, as a first coral. It weathered newbie mistakes and doubled in size. But this year it became unhappy. Parameters are the same as always,
PH 8.2
dKh 9
Ca 460
Mg 1350
Nitrate 5
Phos 0.5

Thought maybe it was allopathy from the leathers, so I started using carbon but one stalk died anyway. So I thought maybe something was shading it. So I moved it a little higher up. The remaining stalk isn't flopped over like the other stalk did before it died, but it has no PE and is starting to lose color on one side. Something is obviously wrong. This tree is highly flourescent, I've never seen one like it, so it makes me doubly determined to save it. Help! It's 8 " from two RBTA and they are happy as can be. What is the problem? I'm out of ideas.

Vermetid snail irritate everything. You only tend to have an outbreak in tanks with higher nutrients though. Maybe Nitrates at 5ppm is enough...?
Maybe you could upload a picture?

here is a picture taken with the iPhone, so sorry its sideways. The tree is really right side up, But you can see the Kenya tree is all shrunken. Its sitting next to a Cabbage Leather that has PE so you can see the difference. The Tree has lost lots of color, and is easily half the size it should be. Am thinking the water may have been too clean for it lately, so am trying to target feed it.

That looks more like a Sinularia than a Kenya tree. You might want to find a good spot among the rocks where it will be receiving quite a bit of random flow and anchor it down. (epoxy) Once it's secure, just leave it alone for at least a month and see what happens. These corals can be very temperamental sometimes if conditions are not right. GL.
