Hey guys. My buddy gave me a couple Kenya Trees for free and they're doing amazing in my tank. What do I feed them. I've heard people talk about cutting them so they grow large. Any input?

Let it grows and reproduces itself. A 2-3 inches head will grow couple more heads and reproduce within 2-3 months by dropping by dropping the old heads. My reproduced to the point I have to remove many. They popped up everywhere.

They benefit from the addition of phytoplankton. They don't utilize the photosynthesis process as much as other coral specimens.

Good Luck!

Ya i don't feed mine but i do put essential elements and zooplex in the water for them. so i guess i do feed them. But to me feeding them would be taking something from the freezer and hand feeding them

Don't tell that to mine. It's quadrupled in size in the 8 months I've had it and I've never fed it anything.
