Mine will close up for two or three days at a time and look terrible. Then it sheds a bit of mucus or something and opens up again. Give it another day or two.
I'll share something else just to make you feel even better. The Kenya tree was one of the first coral I had when my tank was pretty new. There were 3 small trees that came on a piece of live rock. All looked great for several weeks then started to shrivel and look sort of gray. I gave it a couple of days and decided that 2 out of 3 looked dead and I cut them off. A day or two later the remaining one filled out and looked good again. The "nubs" of the ones I cut off (which obviously were not dead) regrew pretty rapidly. The original Kenya tree has dropped babies all over the tank and I have more than I want.
Both myself and a fellow reefer have the same issue with ours. They do great for a while and then one day shrivle up for 2 or 3 days. Weird but his has become a huge beast where mine has not. Partly do to the fragging of it I keep doing to keep it from gain that monsterous size.
