kessil 360 link cable?

Hey all,

I bought some Kessil 360's for a new tank and was hoping to link them together but all I see online as far as link cables are each 6 feet long or extension cables (female : female).

From the picture it looks like it's just a simple stereo cable, which they sell everywhere and for cheaper / shorter than some kessil branded cable.

Anyone happen to know if this is true? Else, I'll end up with several 6 foot link cables even though the lights are just a few inches away? Seems odd.

yes I believe it is true. Just a stereo cable

You can just use the stereo/audio cables with 3.5mm plugs to link them. I use them on mine and they work fine.

Fantastic! I see no use in paying $20 for a $6 cable. Unless it's less corrosive or has some special quality i don't foresee.

I suspect the apex cable is a bit more difficult to obtain, unless someone knows the pin layout. Then it would just be a matter of doing some splicing and dicing

There is a thread for making your own. If I find it I will link. It's not hard to do just can't remember which pins are used
