Kessil A150W 1500K

Hi do anyone have got growth with Kessil A150W 1500K thanks

Hi. I used a Kessil A150w 10k over a 29g tank for a year. A note- Kessil bulbs seem to run a little bluer than they're labelled. a 10k looks like a 12k, a 15k looks like an 18k, and their 20k looks like Windex lol. Anyway, the 10k Kessil gave me decent growth on most of my SPS, and also made a Tridacna clam happy. One downside to the Kessil in my tank (and I've not heard of anyone else mentioning this problem) is that, as it is a spotlamp, 50% of a branching coral is always outside of the light. Now that I have MH lighting on a bigger tank, my SPS corals have full coloration on all sides.

I am thinking about going with the 10k also... does that have any blue tint at all or is it white?

I have the 1500K and it is still 2 white for me.

I think is just what you like, but with the 20k colors going to be stand out

I use 150W 15k over my 29g Oceanic Biocube. It is primarily LPS and softies, but I do have one sps coral. All are growing well. I think the color is a bit on the blue side but I like it. I also have a maxima clam in a corner and it gets plenty of light there.
