Kessil A150w dim after 2+ years of use?

Has anyone else had this problem? I have two a150w skyblues and one is noticeably dimmer than the other and when you look at them you can see that some of the leds are out, i only have them on 8 hours a day each. I contacted kessil and they said it was out of warranty and also that waranties were not transferable (i bought it new off someone from craigslist) but offered me a one time deal of a new one for 155.

What do you guys recommend i do

That sucks , I'd say your basically out a light. Unless they can repair it for you.. but at what cost is it still affordable? Do they sell parts for a diy repair?

they told me for them to repair it it would cost more than retail for a new one. which i thought was strange.

The labor to repair by tech to troubleshoot and fix is probably cost more than a mass produced unit.
