I currently have an A Series controller for 2 A80 Kessil fixtures. I'm looking to upgrade to a single A360X fixture.
I know the connections are different, but my question is has anyone tried adapting the A Series controller to an X Series light?
If I converted the USB-C connector on the A360X fixture to a standard 3.5mm connector would it work? I asked an online retailer and of course they said I'd have to upgrade to controller too.. Obviously. However, would the old controller work with the new fixture? I realize that I'd be missing out on some fine tuning functionality, but would it be able to control the X series light with the same options as the current A series lights?
