I recently installed an A360 blue and I can't seem to figure out what intensity I should set it at. My LUX meter seems like a waste of time so I am hoping that you all can help.
Currently, I have it 4 inches from the water and 22 inches from my corals (pics attached). Intensity is at 85% or so. Running 9 hours a day.
The guy at the store said that the tall one wanted more light but it started turning white while half way up the tank so I moved it to the gravel with the other one, who supposedly wanted less light. The frags were free with the light and I don't want to kill them.
I found some information about how far above the water the light should be placed but, since I can't measure it, I really need to undrestand what they par readings will be with this light based on distance from light to subject. So, if I place the tell one 16 inches from the light I will get around 100 par or something like that.
