Kessil AP700 mounting arms inside tank

Just mounted the AP700 on my tank. There wasn't enough clearance behind the tank so I had to invert mounting arms to go inside the tank to mount it. Would that be a problem?

I have my kessil gooseneck mounted just like your for almost 3 months, its about 1/4 to 3/8 above the water line. No problems seen yet,

I would really consider making that at least sit flush on the rim, and if you have to, do it by shortening the screws. You don't need them as long as they currently are since you're using the spacers.

As-is, it's not really secured at all to the tank rim. One accidental bump on that fixture could mean disaster.
