Kessil LED's worth the $

So I have been looking at different LED lights, and I am looking at the Kessil either the A350 or the A360. Can anyone give some insight as to weather they are worth the money, and which model I should invest in?

Thanks again for the advise ...

I'm currently using the A360we and I'm loving it. Awesome coral growth and coloration, and amazing shimmer. If I were you, I'd go with the A360. It's a little more, but it's definitely worth it. I have no regrets buying the a360 and the spectral controller. Kessil makes awesome, reliable products.

If you plan to keep you tank a FOWLR, you should look into the A160 that just came out. might just be enough coverage for your tank. If you are going to get into corals, then get the A360WE. I just purchased 3 a160 and 2 a360 for 2 tanks; 50gal and 125gal. Not sure which will go on which though.

As to your original question of whether they are worth it, it really depends on what you are looking for. I have 3 A-360WEs on my 6' long 155, controlled by an Apex, and absolutely love the coverage, shimmer and growth. Kessil makes their own LED chips and makes a very quality unit (which you pay for).

Less expensive lights actually have more color options (across the spectrum) but use either CREE or knock-off chips.

Try and look at several over other folk's tank, and see what you think. It really depends on what color spectrum, coral types and control you want to decide if the Kessils are worth it to YOU.
