Kessle light?

Hey all, didn't know if I should put this in photography or not...

But basically, I was wondering what the premium lighting is for taking clear pictures of your fishtank. I've got a Kessle light, and though it looks amazing in person, it comes out very blue (though it's a combo of white-blue LED).

What would you guys recommend, lighting-wise, for nice photography?

A Canon t3i, I'm not really experienced with cameras, but I do know it's pretty decent. I'm just worried it's my lighting, or perhaps Im not good at manually setting the camera up.

The best way IMO is to set the camera to shoot in RAW format. Use the software that came with the camera or photoshop or lightroom to adjust the white balance in post processing.

Jesse's way, above, with post-processing (Photoshop, etc) is best. You may get quicker, reasonably acceptable results if you set your camera to "M" for "manual" and adjust the internal white balance for the JPG output. My tank comes out pretty decent with it set to Tungsten. Your mileage may vary, but until you get the hang of things, that may be a simple first step.

Play around with your camera, you aren't going to hurt anything by seeing what does what. In fact that's the fun part :) After a while, when you know what each button does and you still take crappy photos, you know it's you - and that gets to be annoying! (guess which point I'm at...)
