Brian, I don't know any specific spots in key west, but please know the laws before collecting. If you find a big pile of dry rock at a construction site it might be ok to take if you ge permission, but it is not legal to take any rock out of the water or the water's edge.

Chris it was a joke...:)(100lbs live rock)... Im going down there on business for the day....just wondering if they any good LFS down there worth checking out

Brian, if you stop at Marathon key you can stop a dynasty marine, I use to buy from them before when I was in the business, They specialized in collecting big specimens for public aquariums but also have an extensive line for the smaller pet stores, they will probably not sell to you but you can probably get them to show you around. this is there site

I've always found it funny how when you go into a restaurant in Florida and order a large glass of Orange Juice, what you get is nothing more than one big gulp. And how when you go to Key West, there are no decent fish stores... things that make you go hmmmmmm.

I wonder if you go to Idaho and order mashed potatos, do you get more than two mouthfuls?
