killing aiptasia on nassarius snail

I recently added some nassarius snails to my tank and this morning i noticed an aiptasia growing on of the snails shells :headwally: Any ideas on killing the aiptasia without harming the snail? I would like to use lemon juice if that wont hurt the snail.

I would just fill up a small bowl or tupperware container full of saltwater and put the snail in that. Get yourself a wire brush and just go to town on the aiptasia. Once it's gone put the snail back in the tank and discard the water. GL.

yup. Get one of those stainless steel brushes that looks like a toothbrush, and go to work on it.

Just be careful not to scrub right through the shell.

You can't scrub through the shell on a nassarius

Or get the snail to go in his shell and use a syringe to inject the aiptasia with white vinegar. It's great for killing them quick.
