Kole Eye Won't Eat Seaweed

My Kole Eye won't eat any seaweed sheets in green, red or brown that i have tried in the clip. He seems to only like detritus, but I know that he should eat algae. I need suggestions on how to get a Kole Eye to start eating algae sheets... Thanks again

You can order red gracilaria from another hobbyist, I bought some from someone on ebay. It's a live algae, I tossed it in my fuge and just grab some out as I need it to feed my YT. I like it better than the algae sheets b/c it doesn't fall apart and make a mess. The pieces that do scatter don't rot and the YT eventually tracks them down and eats them. I can put a handful in (rubberbanded to a rock) and it'll last a couple of days. I put an algae sheet in and it's tattered and wasted within 20 minutes. Most of it ends up going down my overflow.

Kole tangs are bristletooth tangs and eat microalgae and detritus of off surfaces (like rock or the glass) Kole tangs don't have the ability to tear algae, their mouths don't work that way...mine won't eat sheets and is fine, they constantly garze on teh rocks and glass

i have a chevron, which is a bristle tooth, and he eats nori sheerts all the time. along with my eyelash blenny.

Thanks guys, i was wondering what should be in his diet then, if algae sheets are not a Yellow Eyes fortay? Should I feed him algae pellets like formula 2, and also feed him mysis shrimp? I just want my Kole to not get sick or get ick... Thanks reefers!
