Kole Tang has no taste for Nori

My Kole has been in QT for a week and digs mysis, but he has no interest in the Nori (aka Ocean Marines, "Green Marina Algae with Natural Garlic Extract").

How long can he go without the stuff? I have it rubber banded to a piece of rock. He does pick at the rock (which has nothing really living on it).

i have a hippo for aprox 4months now who hasnot takeneven the slightest nibble of nori and is growing and thriving..he eats various flakes,various frozen...

My kole tang took close to a year before he hate nori, but now he's the first one to the clip. I kept feeding it because my foxface & other tangs eat it, but the kole tang is definitely more of a film algae eater IME. Mine picks at the glass & rocks all day long.

I couldn't get my chevron tang interested so I started feeding him 8 vegetable flake, which he loves.
