Koran Issue

I've had my koran for about 3 months now and I noticed his lips being swollen (he's 2 inches). After inspection, it seems to look like his lips have chapped off in a few places and look a bit swollen (maybe an exaggeration). He seems to eat when fed and does not display any sick behavior habits (ick, etc)Is this typical for a juvenile to show? Any ideas????

Post a pic, I might be able to help more if I see it. I've raised a few large angels from juvi to adulthood and don't recall experiencing that.

Looks like small pimples around his lips giving him a chapped lip look........could it be ich maybe?????

I can't really tell from the pic, but my wife is saying that one of my koran's lips swelled up one time after eating either a zoathid colony or picking at a frogspawn, she can't remember. I have a vague recollection of that, I think it lasted for about 3-5 days, but that was an overall swelling with some redness; whiteheads sounds more like a parasite may be involved. I would peruse the disease FAQ's on www.wetwebmedia.com and if you don't find an answer there, email the guys there and ask them (I think it is crew@wetwebmedia.com, but you should be able to find it on the site). Be as descriptive as possible and get a better pic if you can before you email them. I've asked Bob over there a couple of large angel questions and have found his responses to always be dead-on.
