Koran with possible infection

I've had my Koran in QT for the past 3 weeks. 2 weeks ago I started cupramine to treat for ich. Everything was going well until yesterday. I noticed his eyes looked a bit cloudy but didn't really have a chance to check it out. Today I come home and his eyes are completely clouded over and he doesn't look great (the checkerboard wrasse that was in with him also appears to be MIA). I would normally treat with cupramine for 21 days but in this case I think 14 days will have to be enough. I'm going to do a water change right away and run some carbon to remove the copper. I think I should treat for a bacterial infection but am not sure which meds? I was looking at furan 2 but it doesn't appear to treat cloudy eyes, however, triple sulfa does. What should I use/do?

Thanks!

Cloudy eyes can be caused by three things; water quality, bacterial infection, or flukes. If confident it's bacterial Furan-2, or tripple sulfa works well. I personally run nitrofurican green powder with any other antibiotic I treat with, and have had good success.

I guess I can't rule out flukes, but I think it is a bacterial infection. I did the water change, found the wrasse dead. I will have to run some carbon before I can add the new meds. Not sure how cupramine and antibiotics mix

Are they? that's great, then I don't have to wait. I just wish I could tell if it's bacterial or flukes. I didn't know the flukes could make the eyes look like that. I am still leaning towards bacteria, as a few of his fins are ratty looking too. I think I'll pick up some triple sulfa today.

Today is the last day of the furan 2, he's not looking any better and has stopped eating. I appreciate the FW dip advice, but I'm afraid to do those. I did a SW dip on a freshwater fish years ago and it was awful!

Tak a plastic pail or container, match temp with a heater, add a pinch of baking soda, stir, add the fish. After performing continue the Furan 2 for 3 more days. Sometimes the 5 day recommendation is not enough.

How long do you leave him in the container? Won't the stress of that treatment weaken him further? As I mentioned I did it once with freshwater fish and they died right after so I'm a bit gun shy.

I usually use prazipro for flukes, but I'm thinking it's a bad idea to add it on top of the furan and whatever cupramine is left.

5-10 minutes, unless the fish is on its death bed, it won't weaken it further. Can you post a photo of this fishes condition?

Ok, as requested here are some pictures. Hopefully they help:

He is not breathing rapidly or flashing at all (if that matters)

Looks bacterial. Suprised the furan 2 isn't working. How exactly are you dosing the med. Still currently? The eye appears swollen? A heavier antibiotic such as Cipro may be needed. What antibiotics do you have available?

I've dosed the furan exactly as directed on the package. It's a 20g tank. The last dose was wednesday, I still have 2 packets left.. should I add them. The antibiotics I have available are pretty much whatever I can find at the local pet stores. What is Cipro?

Yes, do a 50 percent WC, add both packets, along with 4 tsp of espom salt. Continue Furan 2 treatment at this time.

Well I happen to work for a vet so I probably could get it, but I'm pretty sure we don't have any in stock.

Ok, will do with the furan, should I continue dosing after I add the next 2 packages?
