kordon rid fungus

I haven't seen a medication that I would use in a reef yet. Fungal infections are rare in saltwater and usually misdiagnosed. Why do you want to use a fungus medicine?

Fish have been fighting. Both now have white patches, some fuzzy, on their bodies. Im going to try to remove one fish but might not be able to catch it without tearing the reef apart.

What type of fish? Do you quarnatine before adding them to the display tank? More likely a bacterial or parasite infection. You will probably have to treat them both if bacterial and all exposed fish if a parasite. Furanase is a good choice for an antibiotic.

Yes, they were quarantined. Fish are a purple pseudo chromis and an indigo hamlet. Both were healthy but have been sparring constantly. My best guess is that the infection set in where scales/fins etc were damaged by sparring (since infection tracks apparent damage) and other fish are unaffected. I'm going to attempt to remove at least one of the fish and give it away (likely the hamlet) but I'd prefer not to maintain a long term treatment tank if possible.
