Im not sure what everyone does to brace these beasts but I used two floor jack posts and a 6x6x6 timber with some 2inch block underneath them as well...

:)

Better safe then sorry right?

Still have to hook up my chiller, UV, reefkeeper 2, and CA reactor.

Fun Stuff !!!

nice do you have corals from your old system or are you starting off fresh.

I got a bunch of stuff from my old system to bring over :)

I just want to wait a few more weeks to make sure everything stays stable.

Take your time don't rush you don't want to lose any of your livestock.

That is very true my friend, I'm in no rush to get the stuff in here, Been tinkering all day today though.

I got my reefkeeper 2 hooked up, and also my chiller plumbed in.

Mounted the rk2 and my tunze 7095 multicontroller.

ahhh :)

What are you going to stock the tank with? The reason I ask is, you may want to reconsider stacking your rock so high. You need to allow room for coral growth.

Just my two cents...

id fix the light bracket first thing lol. That light will shock the crap out of you if it hits the water. Not that id know anything about that.

Putting a guy next to your tank to prove it's size doesn't mean anything... What if he is a jockey? Then your tank would be like 125 gallons.

It does look great though.

looking good.I have the osmolator and I like it saves you so much work.Does your chiller heat up the room.I would think that the room would heat up do to the exhaust air from the chiller.

The metal halides sure heat the room up, its nice being up here in upstate,ny and its 16 out right now, helps heat the house, LOL
The chiller will probably do as you said with the hot air as well.

I am going to put a window a/c in, during the warmer months to help with the exhaust heat.

:)

The only thing I dislike with the tunze ozmolator is when it powers on, it puts a good amount of ro/di top off into the system

Aqua U/V is plumbed in, will wait to run it though, no need for it yet I dont think.
(killing bacteria to early before the tank gets really established?)

???

You got a nice UV, its got one of those wiper things. Do you have it running before your chiller?

The chiller I have on a Mag Drive 5, The UV is on a Mag Drive 12

Its a 57 watt Aqua "twist" UV, with the wiper.

hopefully it does its job for me :)

Nice setup. I would move at least 1/3 of that rock to the sump and give it a more open aquascape. Check the thread going in the SPS forum right now with "aquascape" in the title to get some ideas.
