I would like to spray paint a pvc part black which sits in the water.
Has anyone used Krylon Fusion in a reef successfully?
from experience only - please don't speculate - my animals are at stake :)

thanks

No idea, maybee ask Randy in the chemistry forum?

People in the diy have used it on maxi-jet mods to make it black, but thats just speculation :D

If it were me, I would just let it cover in corraline.

Sorry im not much help :(

If the PVC you are trying to cover is a pipe and not an elbow, then you can go to Wal Mart or wherever and get a shower curtain rod cover in blac, and cut to fit. It's just a long plastic tube with a slit down the middle and it's used to cover a shower curtain rod. I've used it before and it works great with no problems.

good idea never thought of that, you should try target of kmart. they are in long clear boxes at the walmart here in florida

Krylon is fine. I have it all over the plumbing inside my tank. Let it cure for at least 24 hours before using it though
