Kryptonite candy cane head has 3 mouths?

Hi all,

I've had a kryptonite candy cane with two heads since I bought a 1-year-old Biocube 29 setup 3 months ago (came with the setup). It seems to be doing really well. It has awesome bright green color, and it seems like there's been some growth...the two heads are way bigger than they were when I got them. Both have had two distinct, separate mouths for a while but haven't split. I've recently noticed that one of the heads has three mouths. Is this common or is there a reason they're not splitting? I do feed them a few times a week with mysis and their feeding tentacles are out often.

Its probally getting ready to split. Mine is doing something similar. Both have two heads and are transitioning to an oval shape but have not split as of yet. I'm just waiting for the day I come home or wake up and it has happened. It takes time.

^+2 Mine hadnt done much until the last month or so, but in the last month It has grown 7 new heads, and the three largest are about to split again. Just keep your water in check and be patient and you're good to go!
