Haha, very nice! I have a frag of CB Purple bonsai and it has a huge encrusted base. I was curious what its going to look like, LOL! I'm still waiting for the day I get some twig growth! Although the one twig I have is noticably thinner than yours. Beautiful nonetheless. Nice birdsnest. Would love one of those eventually. Is that a Hyacinth (sp?)?

You must have the same one i have. Ive had mine for over a year and it seems like it likes to encrust more than it likes to branch.

Thanks, mine is a garf purple bonsai, and its actually now encrusting on the rock. Mine took a while before it took off too so don't worry it will. That birdsnest is actually a rainbow birdsnest. I need to move to lower light (it's actually to high up) so that it colors like it should. The bottom branches that are shaded are rainbow colors.

Yes, probably do. I've had mine almost 6 months I think. It has great polyp extension. Started as a twig barely encrusting, then fully encrusted the plug it was on, I mounted it on a larger square tile/plug and its almost encrusted that as well. I think I saw a little twig go up this morning. Funny thing is, its at the edge. I would think the vertical growth would start at the center. Cant wait for this to grow, because it has great potential. Deep purple, almost midnight looking base, and bright green polyps that glow! Grow dammit!:debi:

This pic is like 2 months old. THe square tile is almost fully covered. Its definitely growing, just not up!

No i don't want it I have 5 or 6 in my tank but i wouldn't sell fresh cuts I would wait till they're encrusted. Bonsai is one of the few acros that does excellent i my tank. It's beautiful. Marke's bonsais are fully encrusted lol

I was referring to the birdsnest. Anyways, When are you gonna swing by my place to see the tank. I have a few zoa colonies that are starting to melt. Cant figure out why?
