L/F Frag Tank

Thought I'd post here before I looked elsewhere....I'm looking for a 24 inch frag tank for SPS and zoa grow out. I was at Tom's (TMZ) and his set up has inspired me to add a frag tank.

I have a standard 20 gallon tank which is 24" long, 17" tall and 12" deep. I posted it here before. Its clean, never had meds in it and is ready to go.

$20 and it's yours. PM me if interested.

i just went through what you are . i recently posted a very similar thread to no avail. I was tempted to do the ebay thing for a custom nice rounded frag tank. check the prices yourself and you will see that your paying for quality and to some degree looks. Instead i went with a 40g breeder from petco. they have a buck a gallon sale and the tank is normally 110. so more than half off is worth it to me. It not as pretty and finding a stand is non existant. I used an old sturdy tv stand and some egg crate racks to finish it off. works like a charm and has been running for a week now. wish you the best of luck.

You can build the tank yourself too
Check out my "sneak peek" picture - I paid about $45 for cut glass and another $10 for silicone. It's pretty easy.

it funny but small tanks are simple. i built a 220g by myself. now thats not easy. call your local glass company. they will cut and sand the edges for a decent price. remember to get plate glass to drill. tempered is more expensive but when broken wont stab you :blown: with large shards. allways was a worry with my custom plate glass tank. either way good luck.
