L@@K!! anyone have one of these?

love the colony! have you ever seen them "poop" after eating? last night a few hours after feeding the top head "pooped" it was one of the strangest things i had seen. i have seen other corals do it before but not like this.
 
Nope, never seen any of mine poop. I have noticed that if the food is too large it will regurgitate it whole right after lights out though.
 
man, ive been looking for one of these for a loooong time. does anyone have a frag they are willing to sell, or a link to an online place that has them?

First and probably last... they are quite hard to come by and very expensive. My guess is that you got this at a steal of a deal. Few LFS would order such an expensive coral unless they had someone ask for it. Also, few people would spend lots ($80-150 a head websites are getting) of cash on it unless they knew what it was. In this case, I'm guessing neither happened and you got a great deal! Congrats.

Local fish stores are either growing and fragging their own mother colony or getting them from ORA Farms.
 
The petstore I work for gets saltwater from ORA I'm going to see if I can get my hands on some of those bad boys. I should be able to get them in NY :)
 
well they are doing great! im feeding 2 x a day an there are 2 new mouth's starting to grow from the back side!!! i'll try to get a picture later tonight.
