Anyone know anything about this LFS (assume Clarksville), The Peddler ad says they are opening soon in their new location, 924. E. Providence Blvd.?

They have been around for a long time, in about 4-5 locations in the last 20 years or so, seems like they move every 4-5 years. They are moving again, and it's my understanding that they are not going to have any saltwater tanks at the new location. That's for the best.

I used to go there all the time cause I like to support all the LFS as much as I can but when I saw how they acclimate (or lack thereof) their fishes, inverts, corals, etc. it was hard to go back again. Watching them dump all the stuff with the same water they were shipped in into their tanks and seeing stuff die right there on the spot was horrible...

I specifically remember this beautiful parrot fish (I think that's what it was) they received and as soon as they threw him in from about 3 feet away from the tank he went straight to the bottom and never moved... and he was alive because I had grabbed the bag to look at him cause his colors were awesome and he was swimming around happy as can be...

I went back about 4 months ago and their tanks looked horrible and full of dead stuff... Pet Palace is the place to go to in clarksville for sure... They even let us use our 10% off for MTRC club members...

Yep, I went into L&L once about two years ago and everything looked really bad. I decided I'd give them another shot like 2-3 weeks later, and they had improved the situation... well, sort of, they covered up the really bad tanks with black plastic so you couldn't see in them.

lmao!!!!

I went there not to long ago, looked at the puppies and left...

The large 300 gallon tank at L&L that is divided into four sections is from Glass Cages. It came from Downtown Aquatics that was on Franklin St. a few years ago. They used to have just three open drains. I made 2 Durso's with PVC strainers to keep the fish out. I left the middle one open as an emergency back up. Downtown lost a Queen Angel and that's when I decided to make the strianers...

I drove by the old and new locations a few times this weekend (I never head that direction) and noticed that the old location had a sign out front on Saturday that was not there on Friday night. It read "Coming Soon PetWorld".
