L1 is noisy.

I just purchased this pump about two weeks ago. Although it's never been as silent as I had hoped, it's getting noisier as time goes by. I opened up the volute to see if there was anything stuck in the impeller or magnet and everything looks good inside.

Is this normal and eventually will quiet up or is there anything that can be done?

both of mine have been dead silent from the moment they were turned on. can you post a video of the pump and the noise you are hearing?

That's a pretty unusual issue as all Vectra incorporate the QuietDrive technology and operate extremely quietly. That said, if you haven't already please contact our customer service department for additional troubleshooting.

I didn't want to leave this open ended. The pump is now silent, I came home from a stint away from the tank and whatever was making the noise has cleared. I will chalk it up to something stuck inside where I couldn't see it and finally made it way out.
