I was wondering if the fish off of the regular site in California are treated for parasites and such before they are sold or if the only ones treated/quarantined are on the diver's den. Thanks for the help.
We are currently checking with our Aquaculture Coral & Marine Life Facility for further information regarding the treatment of quarantined specimens at our other facilities.
Thank you for your patience while we received this information. We observe all fish to ensure they are healthy and eating before shipping them to our customers. The length of the quarantine period is dependant on the species. Only specimens showing signs of illness or flukes in our other holding facilities are treated with any medications.
Thank you for your inquiry. In addition to the information provided above, we have found a post made in 2007. We hope this will provide further insight into the procedures that we follow to insure that the fish we ship will make beautiful additions to your aquarium.
