To carry water from the overflow to the sump, I normally use 1-1/4" ID vinyl tubing. Lately, I've been having problems finding large diameter vinyl tubing stamped with "FDA" or "FOOD GRADE" labels. While it can be found on old yellowing stock in some smaller plumbing supply shops, my local Home Depot does not carry it.
Are all vinyl tubing made with FDA materials and compliant with "food grade" standards? Is the labeling required? Perhaps manufacturers now are simply not taking the time and expense to label their tubing?
