I place an order on the evening of 8/21- A2632388. During my check out I had picked overnight delivery for Saturday, however the checkout diverted back to regular overnight when I attempted to switch my funding source. I called customer service on 8/22 after receiving a notice that the fish would ship Monday. I explained that I had wanted it for Saturday delivery, however it was now too late. They were very accomodating and stated that they would hold shipment until the end of the following week as I would be out of town until Thursday. I also asked if there was another of the same specimen available as I wanted a pair. I was told they did not have any other Golden Butterflys.
So, I get a notice this evening the fish has shipped for Tuesday Delivery!!! No one will be there to get the fish. So now I have to scramble to find someone to get the fish and attempt to get it into a tank. It is highly likely that I will have a box with a dead fish sitting on my doorstep or a dead fish in my QT (if a neighbor is able to get the shipment) when i get home on Thursday morning.
Second, on top pf all that, the Divers Den has another Golden Butterfly!!!!! The same fish I asked about and wanted to purchase as a pair. It could have shipped at the same time for Friday delivery. I am very disappointed with LiveAquaria. I have never had this issue before and LiveAquaria has been top notch in the past.
