Tried to do a search...fuction down..whats new..apparently people are moding skimmers with these??


Crunching numbers trying to match flow rates as a return in sinc w/ a Reef Octo NW-200

Rep recomended Maxflow 900...about 800gph @ 2' is this right??

These are great efficient pumps adn also work well for large skimmers.

lol, if you go to the DIY forum, there's a long thread about these pumps. Seems they have alot in common with the red dragon's for the bubble king skimmer. The 2400 laguna was pulling 120scfh !!!!!!!! At around 80watts Enough to skim....well geez, pry around 300-500gallons NOt to shabby

Yeah actually I checked that out~! 120scfh is redonkulous~! Maybe ill put that on my new-to-come 37g bb~!! jp...

I was looking at them as a return pump...not for skimming but It looks like they carry some versatility with them..And i kinda like the housing that it comes in...maybe you could stuff some enkmat in there or something..
