A week ago I noticed my firefish had some white spots on its tail. The next day, they were gone. I was unsure if it was Marine Ich or just some sand (I have seen the fish make little burrows before). Since the fish was not displaying any weird behavior, I decided to just monitor it. Now I notice a large bump under its mouth, and it seems to be getting larger. No spots anywhere else, but the fish is now rubbing its face in the sand as well as its tail. It is eating normal, but has been really skiddish. I also noticed that its been a little aggressive towards my cardinal which never happened before. Breathing seems at a normal rate, although I have seen it flare its gills once or twice. Thinking its in fact Ich, but is the bump something else? Any advice is greatly appreciated!
