For this shot I did not use the Camranger, but my camera can be set to manual control where I tell the camera what to do. You will need a photo program on computer to stitch all the photos together.
I used to have a hollywood stunner, it grows very fast. I got rid of it as it became too destructive. At night they have up to 4 inch sweeper tentacles which stung everything. My current chalices are a plate sized miami hurricane and a 4-inch golden eye chalice that I have been growing for a little under 4 years from a quarter sized frag, very slow
I bought it as a 3 G Mummy Eye chalice. When I bought it, it was much greener than it is now. It slowly turned more orangish on the body with the brighter green staying on the new growth.
Not a very expensive chalice, 40 or so for a piece a little bigger than a quarter.
Looks like TangingOut has one in post 3 of this thread.
Some great pictures of colonies are on here. I like the diversity of color and growth patterns. If anyone posts a picture after this please list the placement, flow, and type of lighting you are using on your tank. Its amazing how some are more knobby eyed than others and some have eyes much closer together than others. I guessing that's related to flow or the lighting? Anyone know?
kevinl - great pictures...I have a canon 80D with the 100mm macro...I may have to try that image stacking!
UKMarineGuy - that piece looks like it is going to have a very nice color pattern. What are the colors under normal lighting? Is that a reddish and green or teal?
SeaMonkee - your corals are on roids...lol. That is great growth!
I saw two types of LPS pellets which is the right one to pick? If I have a small frag will the medium be too big?
The cyclopeeze, is that old stock that you still have?
I can not find it available anywhere.
That product was VERY good and would love to find some.
Anyone know whats going on with that product?
