Large colony of true palythoas

I scored a large colony of TRUE palythoas yesterday. This thing is massive. larger than both of my hands put together. It came out of a tank in a medical office. It's undergoing some serious light aclimation currently. The office building closed 2 weeks ago, and the lights have been off the whole time. It was only under 2 very old VHOs before that, and is under 2x250w halides now. It hasn't opened yet, but it appears to be coming around. I harly ever see true palys anywhere, and I got this large colony for pretty much nothing. I can't wait to see it open.

Awesome, it's always nice to see some true palythoa! Just wish I could find some locally... Post some pics once they open...

I definitely will. Even when they're open, true palys don't have the 'wow' factor of many zoas, which is why I guess you don't see them very often. To me, they're so ugly they're cute.

Here's my other colony.
