Hey Everyone,
I need a 120"x42"x24" Glass Tank built with Starphire front pane and external overflow on back with at least four 1-1/2" bulkheads.
I would also like holes drilled in the top for Sea-Swirl returns.
I am located in Oregon and would like someone West Coast, but also am looking for a quality build.
Anyone have any suggestions on companies?

Thanks

I believe Miracles has a very good reputation here among members.

I contacted them and haven't heard back yet. My only concern is that they are in Canada and I wonder what the customs fees would come to. Although I might be able to get a NAFTA agreement to wave the fees.

I have used miracles in the past and thought they did good work. If you are looking for top notch you might look at AGE. Depends on how long you want to wait. I've heard AGE can sometimes be a 6 month wait.

I'm using Reef Savvy. I think they have a great reputation for a quality tank. Mine is shipping this week and the pictures so far look great. They are east coast, though.

I recently was looking at my 215 that i bought from LFS before i even knew low iron glass existed, (which wasnt that long ago LOL) But i did research on the manufacter of it and it turns out they are pretty good, the tank itself looks perfect also.
www.deepseaaquatics.net and they do build custom tanks. I paid 1200.00 for my 215 at the LFS, they pay around 950.00 im pretty sure but then there's shipping costs and markup also. I did ask for a quote from Miracles on a front starfire 450 gallon 3/4" glass and it was 5235.00 delivered. That didn't sound that bad considering shipping included and i would be getting a tank i won't have to worry about popping or leaking.

But i feel alot more confident about my 215 now that i did research on them, they were Oceanic but when the company moved out of texas some people stayed and made their own company.

Let me know who you go with and all the details if you will when you get it.

where in oregon most saltwater lfs will build custom tanks i would go with saltwater fanta-seas or you could use plywood and make one yourself

I just had mine built by Miracles and have to say best customer service I have ever experienced in this industry. Very unlike them to not get back to you. I live in Denver and had no issues with them getting the tank through customs. The build quality IMO is only rivaled by AGE but overall was better than I could have hoped.

Shipping was the most expensive out of all the places I got quotes from but still came out to one of the lowest total cost wise because their lower pricing on the product offset the shipping cost. Also they had my tank done and shipped to me within 6 weeks a full two weeks ahead of what they originally told me.

Glass cages was the cheapest and the customer service seemed good. But My previous tank was a class cages tank and while it worked it didn’t even come close to the quality of my Miracles tank.

If you have the time to wait Id try to go with AGE having just seen ReefSafe's new AGE tank in person it’s the finest quality I have seen, but Miracles is still a close second.

i have heard that AGE is the best, but there are some people on here that have purchased them and they have multiple air bubbles. they still stand behind their product, but they wouldnt do anything about the bubbles.
(also, most AGE tanks now take almost a year from what people are saying.... they get quoted up to 6 months, but it always takes longer)

most other manufacturers of high end tanks dont have the bubble problems and or they fix that.....
just a thought...
